Let me start by saying that, when you live in less than 20 meters squared in the heart of Paris, it’s pretty much impossible to stay home on the week-ends... and last saturday morning I felt particularly claustrophobic in my little studio.

So came the idea of an early morning field trip - Destination « Musée Guimet ».

Immediately when you first walk in, you are greeted by an immense Buddha statue – and that pretty much sets the tone for the rest of the exhibition. Every piece of sculpture has an amazing history behind it and it’s all explained beautifully.

The detail put into the art is mind-blowing. Seriously you have to see it to believe it. Even more spectacular is the play with lights – The way in which they present each piece is really spot on. Specialised in Asian art, your change of scenery is guaranteed!

So if you’re up for a spiritual morning, it’s the place to be. You won't regret spending some time there -->  6 place d'Iéna, Paris 16ieme

Lately I’ve been looking for some inspiration for some creative projects I’ve been working on. Needless to say, you don’t have to look far to find that kind of inspiration in Paris.

On one of most popular shopping streets in Paris, you just might walk right past this little sanctuary of art. In fact, I’ve missed it a few times – and that’s embarrassing.

Why ? Let’s just say there’s a huge rainbow door, a shooting bubble pistol and a zebra at the entrance…

Anyways, a few dozen crafters display their art for all to see. Free entrance to visit reals studios! You even get to meet the artist in the flesh and get to know them over some free snacks!
Best place to feed your creative soul !
